Picking Andiroba Seeds in Amazon Rainforest

As our slogan “nurture by nature” already communicates, we believe in the nurturing qualities of the various natural products Brazil has to offer. We want to share this richness in flavors to an international public. But we do not want to do this at all expense.

Some of our products come from very vulnerable areas, areas under constant threat of deforestation or large-scale (agro) industrial exploitation. These areas form a genetic patrimony with an incredible richness of species we feel responsible for.

Brazilian Forest aims to offer economic opportunities to local communities, allowing them to profit from the richness in natural resources, without inflicting damage to the ecosystem.

We work with a network of over 250 small and medium sizes farms and cooperatives spread over six different biomes in Brazil.

We are often involved in the quality and environmental aspects of the growing process tracking the whole process from seed to shipment.

Our company meets the highest international standards of quality and safety. Our products are free of pesticides & herbicides and certified according to physicochemical, microbiological, and chromatographic standards.

We work together with an internationally accredited laboratory with state of the art testing equipment, for analyzing and tracking the quality of our products in different phases of the process. Tests than can be performed are physicochemical, and microbiological test, chromatographic analyses can be performed on demand.
